Latvijas valsts pirmā perioda viens no lielākajiem tautsaimniecības sasniegumiem ir Ķeguma hidroelektrostacija. Sagaidot Latvenergo 80.jubilejas gadu, izdots fotoalbums "Latvijas enerģētikas lepnums − Ķeguma hidroelektrostacija Eduarda Krauca fotogrāfijās", kurā apkopotas ievērojamā kinodokumentālista un fotogrāfa Eduarda Krauca(1898-1977) 284 fotogrāfijas no Enerģētikas muzeja krājumā esošās fotonegatīvu uz stikla pamatnes kolekcijas "Ķeguma spēkstacijas celtniecības gaita.1936-1940". Šī kolekcija ir līdz šim Eiropā vienīgā zināmā kāda būvobjekta tik vērienīga fotodokumentācija, tā iekļauta UNESCO programmas "Pasaules atmiņa" Latvijas nacionālajā reģistrā. E. Kraucs mūsdienu cilvēkam radījis unikālu iespēju – skatīt un dzīvot līdzi spēkstacijas būvniecības procesam, pievēršot uzmanību konkrētām objekta detaļām, un vienlaikus ļauj apbrīnot arī vērienīgos būves kopskatus. Fotoalbumā publicēti E. Krauca 1936.−1939.gados filmētie kinožurnālu fragmenti,tos var redzēt ar mobilo lietotni.
Kegums Hydropower Plant is one of the greatest achievements in the national economy during the first period of the Latvian State. In the run-up to the 80th anniversary of Latvenergo, the photo album Pride of Latvia’s Energy Industry: Kegums Hydropower Plant in the Photographs by Eduards Kraucs was released. This publication features 284 outstanding photos taken by Eduards Kraucs (1898-1977), a prominent documentary filmmaker and photographer, and selected from the collection of glass plate photo negatives The Process of Kegums Hydropower Plant Construction 1936–1940. The collection is included in the Latvian National Register of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme and held by the Energy Museum. Eduards Kraucs created a unique opportunity for people living today to see and live through the process of the construction of the power plant, drawing attention to specific details, while at the same time allowing viewers to admire the extensive and vivid general views of the structure.
