Kas attiecas uz vizuālo un art direction – to jūs redzat paši.
Kas attiecas uz pārējo – mums ir šis tas, ko piebilst.
Pirmkārt, šī ir kampaņa, “kuru neviens nesaprata”. Un ar “neviens” mēs domājam visus, kam tā nebija paredzēta. Javisti un Dotnetisti? Kas, pie velna, tas ir? JAVA un .NET programmētāji ļoti labi saprata, ko mēs ar to domājām. Citiem vārdiem sakot – tārgetēšanas līmenis 10 000.
Otrkārt, ir tāda iestāde, kas saucas Valsts valodas centrs. Ja jums šķiet, ka varat tā vienkārši izdomāt jaunus vārdus un izkārt tos plakātos pa visu Rīgu, jūs kļūdāties. Taču pēc desmitiem mēģinājumu ar fontiem, izmēriem un pēdiņām mēs apgājām likumu. Visu cieņu mūsu maketētāja neatlaidībai.
Un, treškārt, plakātos izmantotie cilvēki ir īsti If darbinieki. Kaitinošais mormonis patiesībā ir tas džeks, kurš Javistus apmāca kļūt par Dotnetistiem. Un bārdainais čalis? Tas ir Oļegs – visskaistākais vīrietis, kuru atradām, kodējam If gaiteņos.

As with everything else – we would like to add some stuff.
Firstly, it’s a campaign “nobody understood”. And by “nobody” we mean all the people it wasn’t aimed for. Javists and Dotnetists? Who the hell are they? Well, JAVA and .NET programmers know exactly what we meant by that. In other words – targeting level 10,000.
Secondly, there’s an institution called the State Language Centre and if you think you can just make up new words and put them on posters all over Riga, you’re wrong. But with tens of bouncing tries with quotation marks, fonts and sizes, we outplayed the law. Kudos to our layout designer.
And thirdly, people used in the posters are actual If employees. The annoying mormone – that’s the actual guy who’s retraining the Javists into Dotnetists. And the bearded fellow? That’s Oļegs – the most handsome guy we found programming in the hallways of the If office.
