Ir skaidrs, ka Valmieras pilsēta ir bagāta ar ievērojamiem sasniegumiem dažādās nozarēs, kuri nebūtu iespējami bez valmieriešu centības un darba spara.
Šī iemesla dēļ tika radīta jauna Valmieras identitāte, kuras galvenais uzdevums ir padarīt pilsētas iedzīvotājus lepnus par savu pilsētu un parādīt cik ļoti pilsēta lepojamies ar ikvienu, kurš izvēlējies Valmieru par savu mājām.
Par jauno pilsētas simbolu tika radīta medaļa, kas kalpo kā atgādinājums par Valmieras panākumiem un pateicība katram valmierietim atsevišķi par sniegto ieguldījumu Valmieras pilsētas veidošanā.
Jau mēnesi pēc jaunā simbola ieviešanas tā kļuva par Valmieras pilsoņu ikdienas sastāvdaļu. Valmierieši pārveidoja savu sporta komandu formas tērpus, radīja jaunus suvenīrus un izmantoja jauno identitāti pārtikas produktus noformēšanā. Jaunā identitāte ir veiksmīgi kļuvusi par vēl vienu iemeslu par ko valmierieši var būt lepni ar savu pilsētu.

It is well known, that the city of Valmiera is rich with achievements in various industries, which would not be possible without their local resident work ethic and diligence.
For this matter, Valmiera created a new identity with the sole purpose to make its residents proud of their city and to show that the city is proud of everyone that calls Valmiera their home.
The new symbol of the city was a medal that serves as a reminder about the city and its resident achievements and translates as an appreciation of everyone and everything that makes Valmiera a city it is. After a month of implementing the new symbol in the cities communication, it became a daily addition to the lives of residents. It was incorporated in sports jerseys, new souvenirs and even in branding local food products. The new identity has successfully become an integral part of the city and another reason to be proud of the city of Valmiera.
