Mūsdienās Facebook un Instagram ir neatņemama ikdienas sastāvdaļa. Sociālā lietotne Whynott ir grupas čats, kas ļauj savā starpā komunicēt cilvēkiem, pamatojoties uz viņu atrašanās vietu.

Lai panāktu sabiedrības iesaisti, pirmo reizi Latvijā organizējām interaktīvo stand-up komēdijas pasākumu, kurā izrādes gaitu varēja mainīt, pieslēdzoties lietotnei.

Izvēlējāmies mūsdienīgu pasākuma vietu un vakara tēmu — randiņu izgāšanās. Pasākums izdevās veiksmīgi un rezultāti pārsniedza visas cerības ‒ 98 % cilvēku, kuri apmeklēja pasākumu, lejupielādēja un izmantoja lietotni, visa šova laikā, mijiedarbojoties gan ar pasākuma rīkotājiem, gan cits ar citu.

Nowadays, social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram have become an integral part of our everyday lives. Whynott social app is a group chat that lets people interact based on their location. We wanted to test it in a real-life setting but faced a challenge to stand out among the commonly used apps and persuade people to try something new competes with the social networks they usually use. To tackle it, we organised the first-ever interactive stand-up comedy event in Latvia where the course of the show could be changed by engaging with the app. We chose a trendy location and set the mood by having a relatable theme of the night - dating fails. All communication activities beforehand were carried out only through social media to reach the relevant audiences. The test was a huge success, our results exceeded all expectations: 98% of the people attending the event downloaded and used the app, interacting with both the host and each other throughout the show.
