Darbu izlasē ir apkopti ilgākā laika periodā tapuši darbi. Tie ir radušies esot garlaicības māktai, ļaujoties ideju plūdumam, vai arī kad mani ir pārņēmušas tās “neparastās aicinājuma dienas” un visu manu būtību pārņem jaunrades sajūta.
Savos darbos eksperimentēju. Kā, piemēram, ieskenēju uz ielas atrastus objektus vai arī rakstus ko esmu uzzīmējusi ar roku un pievienoju tos gala vizuālim.
Nereti gadās tā, ka galvā esošā ideja procesa laikā mainās un no sākotnējā pāri paliek vien tikai daļa.
Kad ko radu, tad es sev neuzstādu noteikumus. Svarīgi ir vien tas, lai idejas nāktu no manis pašas un es atklātu ko jaunu ne tikai tehniski, bet arī sevī pašā, jo bieži tieši radīšanas process man palīdz apkopot savas domas. Dizaina process man saistās ar nemitīgu mācīšanos, sevis pilnveidošanu. Tikai salīdzinoši nesen savus darbus sāku iekustināt. Rezultāts man patika un tā kā ar video formāta palīdzību vizualizācijas var padarīt vēl dzīvākas, tad es tehnisko pusi joprojām pakāpeniski apgūstu.
"Waves of inspiration" compiles works created over an extended period of time. Some of them are results of boredom, others are the outcome of letting my mind roam freely and yet others have been created during a particular wave on inspiration.
I like to experiment. For example, I scan things I have accidentally found on the street or patterns I have drawn, and later add them to the end result. Oftentimes through this process the idea is further developed to such an extent that only a minor resemblance of the original concept remains.
I do not follow any rules when I create. What matters to me is that the idea is authentic, original and that apart from learning something new in a technical sense, I also reveal something new about myself in the process.
To me the process of designing means continuous learning and self-improvement. Only recently I have started to ‘move’ my works. I liked the result, so I am gradually learning the technical aspects of video formats and their potential.
